2006: Dark End was born, in its primordial form, from an idea of Imajes (lead guitar) & Valentz (drums). During the same year the line-up changes several times and adjust itself with the entrance of Antarktica (keyboards). The band takes their first live shows.

February 2007: The first full-length “Damned Woman And A Carcass”, inspired by Charles Baudelaire’s “Le Fleurs De Mal” & “Spleen”, was recorded. The temporary absence of a lead singer was filled by Valentz himself.

April 2007: Animæ joins the band as lead singer.

July 2007: “Damned Woman And A Carcass” is first issued by Necromantik Records and immediately collect superb reviews everywhere. After some months the French label Dead Sun Records decide to remaster the CD (with a new and expanded artwork) and to distribute it all across Europe and in North America.

2008: The debut album is duly supported by several live shows in north and middle Italy. Among others, the band plays with acts like Marduk, Vader, Impaled Nazarene & Stormlord, co-headlining the last Metal Circus edition with Handful Of Hate.

April 2009: The band enters the studios to record the second album: “Assassine”. Again, the line-up changes, assuming a definitive form with the entering of Specter (bass) & Ashes (guitars).

March 2010: “Assassine” is issued by Crash & Burn Records, receiving incredible responses.

January 2011: After its great success, “Assassine” is distributed all across Europe by Crash & Burn Records and Twilight Distribution: it can be find on the majors metal catalogues (EMP, Nuclear Blast Store…) and on the official Dark End store at www.darkend.it

April 2011: Dark End will take their first European tour as support act of Rotting Christ
